Barceló Tenerife is a five-star seafront hotel in San Miguel de Abona in the south of Tenerife, just ten minutes from the airport and the only hotel in the world with its own environmental reserve, the San Blas Environmental Reserve. Surrounded by native flora and volcanic landscapes, its décor is inspired by the shapes, colours and textures around it, reducing its environmental impact as part of a commitment to sustainable tourism. Guests can learn about the island's natural and cultural heritage through the reserve's own activities, including a historic experience tunnel and a museum that displays a Guanche vessel found in one of its caves. The hotel's 272 rooms have furnished terraces and hydromassage bathtubs, with options facing the sea, and an All Inclusive programme offers a wide gastronomic choice. Facilities include seven outdoor pools, one heated all year round, a navigable lake, a beach volleyball court, a Wellness Centre, a showroom, a children's playground and sports areas, and some of the island's best golf courses are nearby.
