About this hotel
Casa Mathilda is a boutique bed and breakfast on the main floor of a historic Eixample building that once belonged to a notable Catalan textile family in the late 19th century. Fully renovated in 2014 with sustainability in mind, it blends modern design with vintage charm, and its sunny terrace is planted with native species. It stands two minutes on foot from Passeig de Gràcia, a few metres from La Pedrera and 18 minutes' walk from the Sagrada Família. Rooms face the terrace, with direct access and plenty of light, the street, with large windows, or the quieter interior. Every room has a private bathroom, 100% cotton linen, natural-fibre mattresses with a topper and individual air conditioning. The house holds the Biosphere certification, serves breakfast without single-use packaging and offers filtered water instead of plastic bottles.
