Catalonia Donosti is a boutique hotel on San Bartolomé hill in San Sebastián, a natural lookout over La Concha beach, the cathedral and the city centre. It is built on a former 17th- and 18th-century convent whose protected north façade, with its bell tower and restored church masonry, contrasts with the modern building behind it. Inside, an English-inspired, stately décor of velvet, marble, copper and dark wood creates a warm, elegant atmosphere. Rooms range from singles in the old convent towers and doubles with sea views on the original façade to family rooms, suites with a separate 20 m² living room and junior suites with a 17 m² terrace overlooking the sea and the city; terrace rooms include free spa access.
