Hostal Martinval is a modern, bright and spotless hostal in an eclectic building at the heart of the Eixample, reached by a typical Barcelona stairway and a lift. Its clean, air-conditioned rooms are thoughtfully designed, many with a cosy balcony, and guests can choose between rooms for two or three people and family rooms. Almost all rooms have spacious modern bathrooms with showers, a TV with a choice of channels and free Wi-Fi. The friendly staff welcome guests with a smile and help with requests, recommendations and advice at any time of day or night. Passeig de Gràcia is close by and Plaça de Catalunya is a ten-minute walk, with the metro, trains and buses nearby.
