Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá is a five-star adults-only hotel (15+) on the seafront in Illetas, on the Bay of Palma in Mallorca, and an icon of Balearic architecture. Designed by the renowned Spanish architect José Antonio Coderch, it is known as "the chocolate building" for its exquisite design and elegant cladding, and it is surrounded by a pine garden and a cove. Renovated rooms in white tones have private balconies with Mediterranean views and marble bathrooms, with connecting rooms, adapted rooms and junior suites where guests wake to the sound of the sea.
