Hotel Mar Blava is part of the Cala Bona & Mar Blava complex, two small hotels on a quiet seafront promenade in Ciutadella, on the west coast of Menorca. Guests can be accommodated in either building, and both share the same facilities. The hotel stands about 50 metres from Platja Gran, which can be reached directly from the terrace, and the historic centre of Ciutadella is around a 10 to 15-minute walk away. Its two floors of simple, bright rooms include sea-view rooms looking over the cove of Cala des Degollador. A pool with sun loungers, a garden terrace and a bar are shared between the two hotels. Breakfast is served on a terrace right at the water's edge, making the hotel a good-value base for exploring Ciutadella and Menorca's beaches.
