Hotel Restaurant Forn Nou is a four-star boutique hotel with a family spirit in the heart of the historic centre of Artà, in the north-east of Mallorca. It occupies an iconic building that keeps the name of the old bakery that once stood here, run by the great-grandparents of today's owner. The hotel grew little by little, so each room is different, keeping the soul of a historic house with wooden-beamed ceilings, natural light, soft fabrics and fine materials. Suites include a two-storey suite with a private terrace and sea views, and all rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. A rooftop terrace with a pool offers panoramic views over the village and its church, and the à la carte restaurant serves seasonal Mediterranean cuisine specialising in wood-fired meats, with a tasting menu. A spa set in natural stone is coming soon, making the hotel a calm base for couples enjoying the slow pace of Artà.
