La Casa Gran B&B occupies the main floor of the Cases Almirall, a historic building on Avinguda Diagonal at Carrer de Muntaner, with the original period mouldings typical of the Eixample. It is run by Anna and Víctor, a couple with long careers in tourism and hospitality who came back from London to open their own house, and a small, committed team whose personal attention makes each stay special. The rooms mix styles from different eras: a 22-square-metre deluxe double with a private balcony over the city, a recently renovated superior suite overlooking the terrace with a reading corner, and a 28-square-metre family suite with three balconies over Diagonal and Muntaner that takes an extra bed and a cot. Every room has air conditioning, central heating, a ceiling fan, free Wi-Fi and natural handmade soaps, some with a Japanese-style deep bathtub. Breakfast is served in the dining room, and a large terrace among the trees invites guests to relax. Booking directly brings the best conditions.
