About this hotel
Montesol Experimental is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Ibiza Town, at the foot of Dalt Vila. Ibiza's first hotel, it opened in 1933, became a haven for Hollywood stars in the 1950s and has now been restored to its original grandeur, with its white façade, wrought-iron balconies and corner turrets. Its 33 rooms and suites, designed by Dorothée Meilichzon, nod to the hotel's storied past with celestial touches, bold patterns and a palette of cool whites and pastel yellows and pinks. Windows open onto panoramic views of the Old Town, Dalt Vila or the marina, and the 55 m² suites have a separate bedroom and king-size bed. Café Montesol serves dishes to share, inspired by tradition with a playful touch, inside and on its terrace. The rooftop bar offers cocktails, wine and discreet dinners with postcard views of Dalt Vila, and the hotel is open all year round.
