Hotel Mas Tapiolas is a four-star hotel by Sallés Hotels set in an authentic Catalan farmhouse built in 1235, in the peaceful Solius Valley near Santa Cristina d'Aro on the Costa Brava. The building has been renovated and extended while keeping its centuries-old stone walls, and its rooms range from doubles and family rooms with a garden or terrace to the Masia Design Premium room. The 640 m² outdoor pool with Balinese beds is an oasis in the middle of the valley, and the 400 m² spa offers a heated pool with jets and waterfalls, a sauna, a steam bath, an ice cave, a salt cabin and massage rooms, with free access for all guests. The restaurant serves traditional Catalan cuisine by chef Josep Ayats, also on a terrace overlooking the Solius Valley and the Ardenya massif, paired with a wine list in which DO Empordà wines hold a special place. The original farmhouse cellar hosts private tastings, and a reading room with a fireplace invites guests to unwind after dinner. With bicycle rental for the valley's mountain bike routes, a padel court, a pitch and putt course and a children's room, it suits couples and families looking for a rural retreat close to the beaches of the Costa Brava.
