Santuari de Cura is a hotel in the historic Franciscan sanctuary on top of Puig de Randa, in the centre of Mallorca, at an altitude of 543 metres. From here guests can see the whole island, with views over the Bay of Palma, the Serra de Tramuntana and, on clear days, the islands of Cabrera and Ibiza. Its 33 rooms offer every comfort for a pleasant stay in a setting of nature, history and calm. Honey-coloured stone buildings, arcaded courtyards, a chapel and a statue of Saint Francis of Assisi recall the sanctuary's long spiritual history and the figure of Ramon Llull. The restaurant has terraces with panoramic views, and a museum tells the story of the old grammar school and the Franciscan missions. A shop sells gifts and typical Mallorcan products such as liqueurs and sweets, and the winding road up the mountain is a favourite with cyclists.
