About this hotel
Atlantic El Tope is a hotel close to the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, on the north coast of Tenerife, set on a promontory that gives it privileged views of the Atlantic Ocean, the town and the imposing Mount Teide. Recently acquired by Macaronesian Hotels & Resorts, the emblematic hotel is being redesigned as a reference for family tourism in Puerto de la Cruz. Rooms in the main block have two beds, air conditioning, a mini-fridge and a bathroom with shower, with balconies facing the sea or Teide, and renovated family rooms on the first floor add a double sofa bed and a large terrace with two sun loungers. On the seventh floor, rooms with a double bed have a bathtub in the room and a large terrace with sea views. The all-inclusive option covers breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet, snacks by the pool and a wide drinks menu including some premium brands. The hotel has the only water park in Puerto de la Cruz, more than 400 m² with slides, water cannons, curtains and a large tipping bucket, plus a splash area with up to 20 games, and guests enjoy special conditions at the adults-only spa of the Atlantic Mirage, 750 metres away, making the hotel a good choice for families.
