BYPILLOW Ramblas is an adults-only boutique hostel overlooking La Rambla, Barcelona's most famous street, in the Gothic Quarter just a few metres from the sea. The century-old house was once a resting place for sailors and has been renovated while keeping its Mediterranean character. Its rooms include doubles and twins, some with balconies and views over La Rambla, interior doubles and a triple, all with air conditioning and toiletries. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout, luggage storage is free and late check-out can be arranged. The Liceu, the Boqueria market, Plaça Reial, Plaça de Catalunya and the Cathedral are all a short walk away. The surrounding streets are full of bars, restaurants, shops and museums, ideal for couples and friends exploring the city on foot.
