About this hotel
Hostal Excellence is a welcoming hostal in the very centre of Barcelona, just 100 metres from La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya. Its comfortable rooms, twins and doubles with a private or shared bathroom, are bright and simply furnished, with air conditioning and a TV. A lounge invites guests to relax, and the reception is open from 9 in the morning until midnight. The surrounding streets are full of shops, restaurants and bars, next to the Gothic Quarter and the Raval, both ideal for strolling. The MACBA contemporary art museum is five minutes away on foot and Gaudí's Casa Batlló about ten. Metro and bus stations are close by, which makes it an easy base for exploring the city.
