Hotel Aneto is a small one-star hotel on Carrer del Carme, a few metres from La Rambla in the heart of Barcelona's old town. The Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter and La Boqueria market are five minutes away on foot, and good public transport reaches La Pedrera, Casa Batlló and the Sagrada Família. Its renovated rooms come as singles, standard doubles and twins, twins with a balcony and superior rooms with a seating area and an optional sofa bed. Every room has a private bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning and heating, a flat-screen TV, a telephone, a safe, a fridge, an electric kettle and free Wi-Fi, with a welcome bottle of water and complimentary tea and coffee. The reception is open 24 hours, keeps luggage and gives maps and tips for exploring the city, and the beach is a twenty-minute walk or ten minutes by bus from La Rambla.
