About this hotel
Hotel Fariones is a five-star seafront hotel in Puerto del Carmen on the south-east coast of Lanzarote, set in tropical gardens beside three golden sand beaches and about ten minutes from the airport. Open since 1966 and one of the island's historic hotels, it was renovated in 2020 by the Canarian interior designer Rafael del Castillo and now has 213 elegant rooms and suites with terraces facing the Atlantic and works by local artists. The rooms combine contemporary design with rain showers and sea-view terraces, while some suites add a private jacuzzi on the terrace, a freestanding bathtub and access to the rooftop terrace. Guests can relax at the infinity pool and the outdoor pools among the palms, the hot tubs by the sea and the rooftop terrace, with a poolside bar, a buffet and several à la carte restaurants including Erizo and Kaori. Yoga classes, diving, windsurfing and boat trips are on offer, and the promenade, restaurants and shops of Puerto del Carmen are within walking distance. With its peaceful garden setting by the sea, refined design and attentive service, Hotel Fariones suits couples and travellers looking for a quiet, upscale stay in Lanzarote.
