Hotel Platja Gran is a three-star hotel in Ciutadella, in the west of Menorca, on a quiet stretch of the seafront promenade a few steps from the old town and its main sights. Completely refurbished, it stands 350 metres from the harbour and 300 metres from the city centre, and many balconies look straight out over the beach and the cove. Its 46 air-conditioned double rooms have a bathroom with shower, satellite TV, a telephone, a minibar and a safe, and many have a balcony with beach views. On the third floor, eight junior suites add a flat-screen TV, large wardrobes and internet access. A bright lounge, a breakfast room and a café-bar with terrace by the water complete the facilities. It is a calm, central base for exploring Ciutadella's streets, harbour restaurants and nearby coves.
