Kabul Party Hostel is Barcelona's very first hostel, set on Plaça Reial in the Gothic Quarter, right next to La Rambla, and known across Europe for its parties and social atmosphere. It is a hostel for adults who want to meet people and live the city's nightlife: guests must be 18 or over, and the hostel itself says it is not the place for those looking only for a quiet rest. Beds come in mixed dormitories of four to twenty-two beds, a six-bed female dorm, private twin rooms with bunk beds and private quadruple rooms, all with shared bathrooms, air conditioning, lockers with a power socket, free linen and a towel. Breakfast is always included, and the lounge bar, pool tables, roof terrace overlooking the square and organised nights out keep the evenings busy. The reception is open around the clock with multilingual staff, and there is a laundry, free Wi-Fi and a coworking space. The Gothic Quarter, El Raval, the Boqueria and the port are all on the doorstep, which suits solo travellers and groups of friends who come to Barcelona to party.
