Pikes is a legendary boutique hotel tucked into the quiet hills just above San Antonio, close enough to the island's bustle yet secluded enough to feel like a hideaway. Tony Pike opened it on 4 July 1980 in a 500-year-old finca he had rebuilt largely by hand, creating what the hotel calls Ibiza's first boutique hotel. Its 26 individually designed rooms and suites are full of quirks, mismatched treasures and sun-faded Balearic charm. Days are slow and spent by the pool, while nights belong to Pikes' famous parties, including the Saturday Pikes House Party with its own house band and events in the Freddies room. The restaurant serves lunch, dinner and a Sunday roast, and the hotel team arranges dinner tables, island excursions, taxis and airport transfers. With on-site parking and a history that includes Freddie Mercury's birthday party and Wham!'s Club Tropicana video, Pikes suits guests who want character, music and a lively social scene.
