About this hotel
SOL Tenerife is a four-star family hotel on the seafront in the tourist centre of Playa de las Américas, in the south of Tenerife, very close to Playa de Troya, with incredible sunsets and a climate of eternal spring. It has three outdoor pools: two for adults, one of them heated in winter, and a smaller pool for children, all with sunbeds and sunshades. The bright rooms have two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub and a furnished terrace, and the sea-view rooms look out over the ocean, the beaches and the island of La Gomera. The buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a spacious setting with a covered terrace and sea views, while the pool bar offers snacks, drinks and casual meals overlooking the Atlantic. Children aged 5 to 12 enjoy the Mini Club with handicrafts, workshops, sports, gymkhanas and treasure hunts, and adults can join stretching and aerobics, play tennis or table tennis and enjoy evening shows and live music. It suits families looking for a lively, well-located seaside base in Playa de las Américas.
