The apartments are built of wood in small modules on a rise above the cliff, and every one looks out to sea. Each has a bedroom with two beds, a bathroom, a living room and an open kitchen with refrigerator and ceramic hob; upper-floor apartments have a large balcony and ground-floor ones a terrace with table and chairs. A cosy pool with sun loungers and parasols uses salt chlorination instead of chemicals, gentler on skin, hair and eyes. The village centre and its beach are ten minutes away on foot along a path, or three kilometres by car, and the Garajonay National Park is half an hour's drive. Santa Ana suits couples who want a quiet sea-view retreat in the sunny south of the island.
