About this hotel
Basement Studios is a men-only, adults-only gay resort in Playa del Inglés, run by gay men for gay men and located directly opposite the Yumbo Centre. Guests stay in self-catering bungalows with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a fan, a flat-screen TV, wifi and a balcony. Life revolves around the pool, where plenty of sunbeds invite guests to relax naked and work on an all-over tan. The popular bar and food area is the place to socialise, with Sunday barbecues and the resort's well-known pool parties. A covered cruising area completes the resort for those looking for more adventurous encounters in a non-judgmental atmosphere. The Yumbo Centre's gay bars, clubs and restaurants are just across the street, which makes it a convenient base for Playa del Inglés nightlife.
