Hotel Ca'l Bisbe is a four-star hotel in Sóller, set in the building that was the residence of Bishop Bernat Nadal at the start of the 19th century. Born in Sóller in 1745, the bishop was an important figure on the island, and the hotel's name, which means "the bishop's house" in Catalan, commemorates his legacy. Historic stone walls, wooden beams and old olive presses sit alongside modern comfort and personal service. A large lounge with arched glass windows opens onto the garden, where a long swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols looks out towards the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana. The restaurant has a terrace for meals outdoors, and breakfast can be enjoyed by the pool. The hotel generates its own solar energy with a photovoltaic installation on its roof, and the centre of Sóller is close by.
