About this hotel
Hotel Salvia is an adults-only boutique hotel in a restored 19th-century merchant's house in the old town of Sóller, on the north-west coast of Mallorca. The house is surrounded by large gardens with an outdoor pool and views of the Tramuntana mountains. Its seven rooms have traditional tiled or wooden floors, antique furniture, air conditioning and satellite TV, with spacious bathrooms supplied with bathrobes, a hairdryer and toiletries. The gardens offer both shaded and sunny terraces with loungers and parasols, and there is a lounge with a library on the first floor. Breakfast is included in every rate, and a residents' snug bar on the lower ground floor works on an honesty system all day. Palma is 30 minutes away and linked by the historic train, while the vintage tram runs 3.5 kilometres down to Port de Sóller, making the Salvia a peaceful base for couples.
