Casa-Cueva El Mimo is a charming, romantic cave house in the Las Arbejas quarter of Artenara, about 1,294 metres above sea level in the highlands of Gran Canaria, let by the local rural tourism company Artenatur. It is ideal for couples on their own or with small children, with a large living space that combines the kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub, a bedroom with two single beds and a spacious double bedroom. Outside, a patio with a shower, barbecue and sink leads to a pool with hydromassage, shared with the neighbouring cave house Las Margaritas, which can be joined through a connecting door for families travelling together. Being a cave, the inside keeps a constant temperature of around 18 °C all year round, warm in winter and cool in summer. From the terraces the views stretch across the mountains to Mount Teide, with dreamlike sunsets.
