About this hotel
Hotel Costa Calero Thalasso & Spa is a four-star resort on the hillside above the marina of Puerto Calero, on the south-east coast of Lanzarote, with panoramic views over the harbour and the Atlantic. Its 340 rooms include sea-view rooms, spacious suites and interconnecting rooms for families, set among fragrant tropical gardens with several swimming pools, among them an infinity pool facing the ocean. The Thalasso & Spa centre is the only one on the island with seawater: its Activa pool holds more than 300 cubic metres of seawater at around 32 °C, alongside a sauna, a Turkish bath, a jacuzzi and four Roman thermal baths, with set hours for children from four years old. Guests eat at the La Magdalena buffet restaurant with show cooking and gluten-free and vegetarian options, or à la carte at Oyambre, on board plans from bed and breakfast to all inclusive, including an adults-only All Inclusive Prestige. Children have a kids club and playgrounds, and the resort adds a gym, sports facilities and daytime and evening entertainment for all ages. Puerto del Carmen and its beaches are three kilometres away with a free shuttle several times a day, which makes the hotel a good choice for families and couples who want a full resort in a quiet marina setting.
