Hotel San Telmo is a city hotel in the old town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, set in a historic building of some 350 years that was one of the first houses in the town. It was completely renovated in 2008 and stylishly extended with modern rooms, furnished with loving attention to detail, and the owners are there in person to look after their guests. Comfort rooms open onto the patio, Canarian rooms in the old house have a balcony or patio access, and sea-view rooms look over the tiled roofs to the sea, alongside the suites of the historic Casa San Telmo. Every room has air conditioning, a modern bathroom with shower, satellite TV and free internet. A leafy patio and a roof terrace with views over the town and the sea are open to all guests, who can start the day with an optional breakfast and end it with a drink on the terrace. San Telmo suits couples and travellers who want character and personal service in the heart of the island's capital.
