Las Barcas is a small boutique property of family apartments directly on Las Burras beach near San Agustín, in the south of Gran Canaria. Two local families rebuilt the 1970s modernist building from scratch, turning twelve units into five spacious, light-filled apartments. The three upper-floor apartments have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony with sun loungers and sweeping views of the beach and the ocean. The two ground-floor apartments have three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large terrace with an outdoor living room and direct access to the garden and the beach. Each kitchen is fully fitted with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, and there are smart TVs and free Wi-Fi. Cleaning five days a week, beach towels and children's equipment such as cots and high chairs make it ideal for families and groups of friends.
