Suites 1478 is a distinctive boutique house with close ties to art and culture in the old Vegueta district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a stone's throw from the cathedral. It occupies a building of great architectural value on Calle Doctor Chil, designed and built in the 1940s by the Canarian architect Miguel Martín Fernández de la Torre. Its nine suites include Urban Suites at the level of the Canarian patio, one of them a loft and one accessible, and Deluxe Suites on the second floor, two opening onto the listed Canarian balcony. Breakfast is served in a glass-enclosed interior patio, and the rooftop terrace and bar offer drinks and snacks with views over the old town. Suites have exclusive furniture and art, rain showers, bathrobes and slippers. Theatres, museums, shopping streets and restaurants are just a few steps away.
