About this hotel
Columbus Rooftop Hostel is a social hostel on Calle de los Reyes Católicos in the historic heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between the old quarters of Vegueta and Triana. It was founded in 2017 by two friends from the United Kingdom with a simple idea: friends, fun and good times. Guests choose between shared dorms, a female-only dorm, private dorms of three or six beds and private double rooms, with shared bathrooms and personal lockers. Fast Wi-Fi and dedicated work spaces make it practical for digital nomads as well as backpackers. The rooftop terrace with a bar, barbecue and views of the cathedral is the place where guests meet in the evenings. The cathedral, museums, restaurants and bars of the old town are a short walk from the door.
