Finca Tomaren is a rural retreat in the centre of Lanzarote, between the volcano and the vineyard, with views of the island's volcanoes and the vines of La Geria growing at its edges. Its studios, superior studios with a private terrace and Balinese bed, one-bedroom houses with a terrace and two-bedroom family houses are fully equipped, with rustic bathrooms, timber ceilings in traditional Lanzarote style and furniture brought from the island of Java. The atmosphere is calm and private, with Buddhas, Moroccan tapestries and gardens with walks over the lava around a heated pool, a jacuzzi and a sun terrace. A buffet breakfast with local produce and bread and pastries from an artisan bakery is served from 8:30 to 10:30 in the colonial dining room. A bright yoga room hosts classes and meditation, and the finca arranges hiking routes, wine tastings with vineyard visits, bike and car hire, laundry and extra cleaning on request, with free parking on site. It suits couples and travellers looking for a quiet, nature-connected stay in the heart of Lanzarote.
