About this hotel
Makāi Bungalows is a small Norwegian-owned beachfront resort in Playa del Águila, on the edge of San Agustín in the south of Gran Canaria, where health, well-being and tranquillity come first. Its 25 intimate bungalows are spread between lush gardens and the seafront, and all have direct access to the beach. The beachfront bungalows are fully renovated, with ocean views and contemporary comfort, while two garden comfort bungalows offer open-plan, accessible layouts. The other air-conditioned one-bedroom bungalows have two twin beds, a living area with a kitchenette, high ceilings and a private terrace overlooking the garden. The newly renovated heated saltwater pool with an overflow edge is surrounded by palms, and meals are served in a bright California-style dining room. The resort has step-free access and its own private path to the beach, making it a calm place to rest and recharge.
