Redondo de Guayedra is a sustainable agritourism estate in the Guayedra Valley near Agaete, in the north-west of Gran Canaria, set on 52 million square metres within the island's Biosphere Reserve, where farmland, sea and mountains meet. Its twelve accommodations are spread across the estate: cave houses carved into the rock centuries ago, restored century-old rural villas with large private terraces, and eco-lodges near the restaurant. Every unit has a kitchen with fridge, hob, coffee maker and crockery, air conditioning and free wifi, and a varied breakfast is always included. The La Laguna pool in the upper part of the estate looks out over the ocean, the Tamadaba massif and the valley, while a heated pool shaded by palms sits by the eco-lodges. Guests can walk down to the wild Guayedra beach, eat home-cooked food in the restaurant or have it delivered, and book massages and yoga. It suits travellers looking for nature, privacy and authentic Canarian surroundings far from the crowds.
