Vista Verde is a small, family-run adults-only complex of 16 apartments on the Campo de Golf in Maspalomas, in the south of Gran Canaria, every one of them looking onto the pool. The Maspalomas Dunes and the beach are four to five kilometres away and Meloneras about three, so the complex is a quiet base within easy reach of the south coast. Each apartment has a patio with pool view, a seating area, a flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom with shower. The fully equipped kitchen comes with microwave, fridge, hob, toaster, kettle and coffee maker for self-catering stays. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly stays are discounted, which suits longer winter holidays. The reception team also helps plan excursions such as catamaran cruises, parasailing, jeep safaris, golf and bike hire around the island.
