Port de Sant Miguel
Port de Sant Miguel is a stunning natural inlet on Ibiza's northern coast, flanked by wooded hillsides and dramatic cliffs, offering a sheltered sandy beach with crystal-clear waters and access to the island's most spectacular cave system at Cova de Can Marca. The beach sits at the foot of a steep valley creating a natural amphitheatre of green hillside that provides excellent wind protection and some of the warmest swimming conditions on the island. Above the bay, the luxury clifftop Hacienda Na Xamena hotel commands extraordinary views across the Mediterranean from its infinity pool and spa terraces. The Cova de Can Marca cave, accessible via a short walk from the beach, offers guided tours through illuminated underground chambers featuring stalactites, stalagmites and a spectacular waterfall light show. The surrounding area is part of the Es Amunts protected landscape with excellent hiking trails through pine forests along the clifftop paths to Benirras and Na Xamena. Several fish restaurants on the beach serve fresh catch of the day and traditional Ibizan paella, providing a memorable dining experience at the water's edge. For visitors seeking dramatic natural scenery, protected swimming waters and a genuine escape from crowds, Port de Sant Miguel is one of Ibiza's most beautiful and unspoilt coastal retreats.
