Puig d'en Valls is a charming village located just two kilometres from the centre of Ibiza Town, forming part of the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Rio on the island's eastern side. The area has a rich history stretching back to the 6th century BC, when it was inhabited by Phoenician-Punic settlers, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites on the island. Named after the feudal lord Valls who governed these lands following the Christian reconquest, the village remained a traditional farming community until the late 20th century.
